Love

‘Without love we could not survive. Human beings are social creatures, and a concern for each other is the very basis of our life together.” – The  Dalai Lama

Love is the highest gift that we can offer other people and the highest gift we can give ourselves.

When we are born, life force flows innately through us.
At the same time, with it comes the ultimate gift, the love of God, the Creator, and you know that that love is limitless and freely given.

There are many names for this force field depending on your beliefs. ‘The Light’ is a common expression to describe this energy of life which is calm, quiet, kind, harmonious, warm and peaceful (and it is also joyful, exuberant and abundant).

For simplicity and unity, we will mostly call it ‘The Light’ or ‘Life Force’, though other names are used.

We can choose to connect more with this calm, peace, healing, and love in any moment with…

The Universal Tool

Love

The Universal Tool uses our life force and love creatively to:

  • Drain stress, worry, fears and sadness/anger from the body
  • Rewire nerve pathways from stress to strength
  • Using this tool is like plugging your phone in to recharge and carrying around your personal battery. Like a phone, the connection is always there
  • The Light can be a blessing of love you spread around yourself to cocoon you, so you feel protected and connected.
  • Send love and Light to others

How to use The Universal Tool

Sit quietly in a comfortable chair, feet and arms uncrossed.

Imagine a limitless source of love and energy above you, a brilliant White Light.

Imagine it any way you wish.  See it, feel it, know it, or just think of it, for example, as a gentle snowfall, a white shower, bright stadium lights focussed on you, or light shimmering off a sunny lake or a brilliant snow field.

Allow the Light to flow quietly and easily down and around you, surrounding you like an eggshell of protection and love.

Allow the Light to flow gently down through your head and down through your body filling you with calm, safety, peace, warmth and love. It will quietly move away anything you don’t want like anger and sadness, down and out your feet.

Focus gently on your body’s centre. We have a well of life force there that can deplete over time and in stressful situations.  Shine a bright light in there and fill your constitutional energy up to overflowing, allowing the Light to radiate out to strengthen your body again.

Sit for at least a few minutes in this eternal, gentle, loving and soothing space.  Know you are being healed, supported and cleansed – physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

This process ‘takes as long as it takes’ to reach a place of calm and peace but usually in a few minutes you can change your emotional state.

The Universal Tool in our Lives

Use the Universal Tool anytime for more ease in your day.  Use it to dissolve your emotions, fears and worries, to clean up a situation, and when you feel overwhelmed.

Use the Universal Tool to focus your thoughts and when hesitant going into a crowded room or facing a difficult situation.

Also, when you just want to feel better or ask for advice, for protection of you and your car when driving, for better health, and to feel more focussed and mindful, for example.

We suggest you make a plan for when you will use The Universal Tool regularly.

When you go to bed at night using your light switch can become… ‘Light on, Light off’.

You could think ‘car, computer, couch, and/or kitchen’ so whenever you go to those places you create a habit of ‘turning on’ The Light.

YOUR BODY IS A SERIES OF ELECTROCHEMICAL FEEDBACK LOOPS, CONSTANTLY RUNNING.

love 6

It is a constant flow of energy and information.  Those little bright lights are the transfer of these from one cell to another.

The feedback loops relay the trillions of nerve impulses per second that organize our amazing bodies through more than 10 trillion kilometres of nerve fibres carrying life energy everywhere.

What do they give feedback on? The physical, mental, emotional, and energetic state of our bodies in every moment, and how they are responding to our environment, including our stress and the amount of love we are feeling, giving and receiving.

Every thought makes a difference, good and not so good. Because our brains are wired for love, not fear, all the circuits are geared up for healthy, not toxic, thinking.

Mindset for Love

We all want to be loved. Love is something we all value – it is essential for our very wellbeing. There are many different forms of love to me – caring, kindness, selflessness, giving, forgiveness, passion, joy, devotion, tenderness, compassion, support, acceptance, gentleness, friendliness, and empathy, for example.

What could you do to create more love?

I realise this may be self-evident, but please think about love in your world, and how you could work towards creating more and more, giving kindness to yourself as well.

Love is the glue that holds our world together, heals us all and makes life more beautiful.

You could send thoughts of love, caring and healing to someone who needs them. For 2 minutes in your day? (You won’t be giving out in order to receive, I know, but there is a giving and receiving cycle.)

Could you create a project to bring happiness into an aged care home? A project to help a tired carer? Give flowers unexpectedly when you see someone sad? Or just keep those smiles and/or touches coming?

As someone grieving a brilliant lost physical love, I ask you to know that the smallest touch, a small kindness, or a just a smile and eye contact can bring tears of relief and release because someone cares.

Love just works.

With love and respect,

Dr Judy Hinwood
