What is in your way? Stress is not the enemy; our response to stress is what’s important – how we think about it, yes, and then what we DO about it. Stress can be a rocket launcher if we use it correctly.
How? With Gratitude for everything, (yes, the lessons included) and Giving of ourselves, like our time, our kindness, our caring, our skills. This is a happiness recipe.

FEAR is an almost universal deterrent. There are many fears; of being judged, of not being loved, of abandonment, of losing money, possessions or love, of not being ‘good enough’ in some way, for example.
One common fear is of failing:
The Failing Forward book

A summary of the main 15 points about fear are:
- Realise there is one major difference between most people and achieving people; they just do it.
- Learn a new definition of failure; it is learning
- Remove the “you” from failure
- Take action and reduce your fear
- Change your response to failure by taking responsibility
- Don’t let the failure from outside get inside you
- Say good-bye to yesterday
- Change yourself, and your world changes
- Get over yourself and start giving of yourself
- Find the benefit in every bad experience
- If at first you do succeed, try something harder
- Learn from a bad experience and make it a good experience
- Work on the weakness that weakens you
- Understand there’s very little difference between success and failure
- Get up, Get going, Get over it

Sabotages
Could you be sabotaging your life? View it as if from a cloud and objectively.
For example, are you avoiding taking action because people might judge you? Do you believe there is not enough time, or enough money or love or any other resource? Do you have family complications – could they be solved?
Is there a course you need to do to apply for that position?
Do you believe deep down that you are not good enough in any way? Using affirmations works.
Overwhelm is so very common and can stop us in our tracks. Just do ‘that one thing’, for example, give yourself an hour to start sorting some papers.

We suggest you list anything you procrastinate on and start to sort doing those things! Ask for help if you need – we’re all human.
Some things never change: ‘Knowing is not enough, we must apply. Willing is not enough, we must do.’ Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

What Makes You Fulfilled?
It is helpful to quietly look for the threads that run through your life, the common work or theme/s that you see in your life situations and learnings you have had.

Task : Write as many answers as you can to these questions:
What are your strengths, gifts and talents and how can you bring these more into your life?
‘Balance, peace and joy are the fruits of a successful life. It starts with recognising your talents and finding ways to serve others by using them’ Thomas Kinkade
